Most of us only talk about our dreams. In 2005 we made the decision to act on what we planned and talked and dreamed about for 15 years. We together decided if we wanted to truly enjoy life aboard our boat we needed to release all the responsibilites that are connected with owning a home. We sold our home and all our belongings by auction on September 13,2005. With our emotions still running high, we left BYC two days later with a desire to fulfill our dream. No regrets no looking back!
Yesterday we motored from BYC to Sodus Bay Yacht Club, an uneventful trip east on Lake Ontario. This morning we got an early start to Oswego so we could beat the storm that was forecast for that afternoon. Can't remeber the last time we saw a sunrise.
We were lucky we did because no sooner than we tied up in Oswego, the skies opened and we got soaked. It took 2 days to dry out!
