Fort Pierce, FL
The picture is of the thunder clouds last evening. We never did get any thunder but lightening off in the distance. It was a real electric light show. Sometime during the night the wind began to howl and the rain came down. The wind continued all day. You had to hang on to your hair, hat and anything else subject to taking off.
This morning I walked to the farmers market next to the marina and the vendors were chasing their paper signs and anything else that took off in the wind.
It was not only windy today but cold, don't know how much further South we have to go to get away from the cold.
The plan is to leave tomorrow morning, weather permitting. The current was a challenge getting into the channel. I can't imagine with the wind added how difficult it could be.
