Leaving Deltaville on the 36

Larry says it's been difficult to get a good weather window this year. He was right again. We left Deltaville this morning at 7 AM. The wind waves were on our nose. We have yet to have a good sail on the Chesapeake Bay. Maybe next year! After 9 hours and very little to eat, I wasn't going below, we finally arrived in Norfolk. We had planned to anchor again in Hospital Basin but when there were 25 knot, gusting to 38 knot winds and white caps in the river we intelligently decided to go into Tidewater Yacht Marina. The winds are to increase with rain this evening. We have decided to stay one more day here in Norfolk, there is a lot to see and we are not on an agenda but we are eager to get to warm weather.
