Soloman Island

After a rough ride under sail on the Chesapeake our next stop was Solomon's Island. We stayed two nights while it rained. This gave us time to get provisions, do laundry and some sightseeing. The picture is of the Drum Point Lighthouse and of course Larry. This lighthouse was moved from Drum Point and restored as part of a museum.

Our next stop was Norton Yacht Sales in Deltaville, Va.
We looked at approximately half dozen Hunter Boats. We found the boat that fits our needs and plan to put an offer in on her. We have plans to meet our daughter and Steve and his family at the Outer Banks so we will be making a slight detour first.
