Most of us only talk about our dreams. In 2005 we made the decision to act on what we planned and talked and dreamed about for 15 years. We together decided if we wanted to truly enjoy life aboard our boat we needed to release all the responsibilites that are connected with owning a home. We sold our home and all our belongings by auction on September 13,2005. With our emotions still running high, we left BYC two days later with a desire to fulfill our dream. No regrets no looking back!
We pulled into Alligator River Marina for the night and happy we did. Having heat is a good thing. The laundry and hot shower was also an added plus.
The next morning we woke to ice on our deck and canvas. I don't know what we are still doing here! Warm weather here we come!
