Soggy in the AM!

I forgot to share this beautiful sunset with you last night. I'm so use to posting sunrises and we can't see the sunset because of the storms. Last night was a treat between storm cells.

We got up to a soggy topside and decided not to take time to put our mainsail back in her track. The clouds are building and we are crossing the Neuse River  to get into the ICW (intercostal waterway) again. The waves are 1 to 2 feet but we are going through them at an angle so it's not uncomfortable. We only have two miles to cross the river. The only waves we should see in the ICW will be from wakes of fast power boats.

Something else we discovered in last nights downpour, we have a leak in one of our non opening side ports ( windows). They are sandwiched between two metal frames which we tightened and were loose. It's amazing what becomes loose through all the bouncing on waves. We now have a port and a hatch to reseal in Florida.

It's almost 7:30 and we are about to enter Adams creek on the ICW.
