Most of us only talk about our dreams. In 2005 we made the decision to act on what we planned and talked and dreamed about for 15 years. We together decided if we wanted to truly enjoy life aboard our boat we needed to release all the responsibilites that are connected with owning a home. We sold our home and all our belongings by auction on September 13,2005. With our emotions still running high, we left BYC two days later with a desire to fulfill our dream. No regrets no looking back!
We had a short day today. Our destination was only 15 miles from were we spent the night. We are getting our 50 hour warranty check on our engine tomorrow. We will stay the day and continue our trip on Thursday.
The picture at the left is the Rightsville bridge and the first boat coming through is our friends on Usquaebach. We have been traveling with them on and off since Elizabeth City.
