St. Augustine, Florida

The picture is of the entrance to Old Augustine Village. The village has about 9 restored homes of which 7 are open to tour.

The city of St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied European settlement in the US. It was founded in 1565 as a Spanish military outpost. This city is beautiful with buildings dating back to the early 1700's.

We arrived here at about 1:30 and went out on foot to tour the city. We definitely will stop for a longer stay in the Spring. There was so much to see it will take at least three days to take it all in.
