Traveling to Southport, NC

The picture is of us coming along side of a barge being pushed by a tug. As you can see there isn't a great deal of room for this, too close for my comfort.

The weather was rain, clouds, wind and it was dark like night time.

The marina we called first could not accommodate us because of the 4' 11" draft of our boat. We traveled a mile further to Southport Harbor Marina. There isn't much here at the marina but there is and excellent Italian restaurant.
