Our day in Southport

We stayed today and took a cab into the town of Southport, NC. The town is a quaint, historic town with many shops. We shopped for a few Christmas gifts and had lunch. The sun was shining and it was about 50 degrees, a pleasant change from yesterday.

The picture was taken from the boat at the marina. The center building is the Italian restaurant we ate at last night.

We plan to leave about 8 AM tomorrow morning and will travel about 50 miles. At that point we will be in South Carolina and hopefully warmer weather.
